Parting with vintage items

I am forcing my logical mind to triumph over my sentimental heart and therefore I'm selling some old things.  Most of it will be clothes, but I'm also selling an old make-up compact.  I've read that it's very rare and hard to find. It's from MAC's 2005 Sunshrine collection.  This was a great time in my life, when I lived in Southern California and life was good.  I'm tempted to hold onto it for that reason, but I tell myself that this compact doesn't really represent my life.  It's just a compact.

Unfortunately E Bay took the listing down because they said it was used cosmetics.  I had listed it in the category of collectibles, and had written the title to be just the compact for sale, but they pulled it anyhow.  So now I'm trying to decide if I should even bother listing it on E Bay or check out other sites like Etsy or Poshmark.  I'm also considering just asking people who have messaged me about it what they would offer.  If it becomes much more difficult I'll end up just keeping it.
