Not your mother's frizz control cream

A few weeks ago I received a box with samples of some beauty products to review.  One of the products was Not Your Mothers brand of frizz control cream.  I've tried many, many frizz control creams and have found very few that worked well.  The first time that I used the product I put some in my hair, combed it through (per their instructions), and let my hair air dry.  I was very happy with the way my hair looked when it dried.  I have natural wave, so I had that, but very little frizz.

Here's what my hair looked like when it was almost dry.  Very little frizz compared to what I usually have.

The next morning when I got up it still looked pretty good, even without brushing it.

The next time I used it, I put it in my hair the same way, but this time I blow-dried it partially dry.  I didn't have as good of results that time, unfortunately.  The parts that I used the blow dryer on were pretty frizzy.  I was disappointed since it looked so good the first time.  (I didn't take any photos of that.)  I may not have used enough. I'll try a few more techniques with it and hopefully I can come up with one that works well.  It's getting too cold to let it air dry!
**Note - the next time that I tried it, I used a little bit more, and it worked very well again. It seems like this will be a great product for controlling frizz, and at a great affordable price.

    1. Thanks so much, Jean. I really enjoy doing the make-up experiments. As for the frizz, I suspect part of the reason that I'm always searching for the perfect product is because I don't have the patience to blow dry my hair completely dry. I've heard that is the trick.

    1. I've tried FrizzEase. You're supposed to put it on when your hair is soaking wet. There was something about the process that was too tedious for me, although I don't remember what it was. :-) Fekkai's Glossing Cream works very well, but I can't afford it right now so I have to try some cheaper ones.
I'll be checking out your blog - the name is very intriguing.
