MAC's Fantasy of Florals

Sick of winter yet?  If you live anywhere other than the West Coast, I'm betting that you are.  Unless you can afford a vacation, there isn't much you can do about your surroundings. But you can indulge yourself in some spring-like make up.  MAC just released it's first spring-colored collection to stores.  Here's a few photos of some of the items.
First the lipsticks.  They're either nudes or pastels, and they're the lustre finish, which is sheer but very moisturizing.  I passed on the nudes, since I have a lot of those already.  I got an orange-ish red one named Dreaming Dahlia, and a purple-pink named Snapdragon.  And sometime this week I should get Heavenly Hybrid, a medium purple.

Dreaming Dahlia is on my top lip, and Snapdragon is on the bottom

They also have some gorgeous gel eye liners, in a cute mint green and a pink-purple.

They also offered two Mineralize Skin Finish compacts, which is one of my favorite MAC products.  It's a mineral powder with a little sparkle in it.  You can use it as blush, or as a highlighter, or both.  The first one I bought is a pale beige with veins of purple.  On my skin it leaves a very nice, subtle sheen.  I like it because it's not too sparkly.  Perfect for days when I just want a little highlight.

The other one is named Stereo Rose.  It's much more pigmented, a deep coral rose color with veins of gold.  This one will be great as blush, or a highlight later in summer when I have more color.

There are also some lipglosses, nail polishes, and blushes, but I didn't buy those (not yet, at least).  Even though I'm still in the "dark lipstick for winter" mode, I'm happy to have some light pastels to remind me that eventually, the snow will end.
Fanstasy of Flowers is available at Nordstrom, Macy's, MAC stores, and limited items are at Maccosmetics.com.
